Solid bit of kit
Solid bit of kit. We have just completed four nights off-grid with no sun for the solar panel for top-ups, but we still had enough power for lots of coffee and hair drying each day. These were the things we missed in the motorhome when travelling off-grid! The app still reported 53% power left.

I experienced a couple of power cuts
I experienced a couple of power cuts recently and decided that I needed to do something
to keep the lights on during a cut.
I have put my Sherpa in the garage and have a small portable solar panel in the garden.
So far the Sherpa works fine.
Now I don't feel so anxious (I am 80 ) about a power cut in midwinter.
In the future I intend to increase my solar panel area and gradually use the Sherpa
to power more and more mains electrical gear to try and keep my electricity bill down.

Fantastic piece of kit.
Fantastic piece of kit. For the marine industry I can't find better as having anderson DC out allows me to power the whole system (except the windlass) and with the add on battery also having another I am powering my eberspacher independently. And with every unit accepting up to 2100W of solar/wind/ hydro or alternate charge, 2 or 3 units provides all options. Quality build is at industry level and these little power banks can fit pretty much anywhere. . . . Highly recommend.

Are you ready for a power cut?
We may think of a power cut as being a temporary inconvenience, but when it lasts for hours or even days, it becomes a real challenge. Consider the critical services in your home and how long they can be disabled before things get serious

Maintenance Matters: How to avoid turning your battery into a brick
What is Deep Discharge? Simply put, if the battery is run down to 0%, then is left for a long period of time without being recharged, it will head towards a state where it cannot be recharged! To avoid this costly mistake, follow our simple guide and get more for your money.

Let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of solar energy capture. The two primary wiring configurations, series and parallel, each have distinct advantages. However, you may want to consider a combination of both to maximise power output while minimising losses.
